Sony is integrating its phone, camera and home entertainment business

Sony is partnering with its three electronics divisions, Sony Mobile Communications, Imaging Products and Solutions and Home Entertainment and Sound. Consumer cameras, phone business, TV and home audio hardware will all be controlled by the same company.
In addition, these three divisions will have global sales, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, procurement and engineering all in one place, making these departments more profitable for the company.
Sony Interactive Entertainment, which develops playstation consoles and games for it, will continue to operate as an independent company. Makes tools that will work differently. Sony's music and film, medical and financial divisions are also not being restructured.
